Some years ago we had the great opportunity to visit parts of central Europe
as part of two separate ABANA tours. The countries we visited were:
Germany, Czech Republic, Austria (in 1999), then Spain, France and Andorra in 2001, just after "9/11".
The ironwork
over there is astonishing both in span and in volume, compared to the USA. Of
course, they have been at it for a thousand years longer than we in the USA
have.
This small picture gallery will focus on, not the ironwork, but the
tooling we saw which differs from tooling that I am familiar with in the
USA.
